NINA RICCI

Diseñadora italiana (1883-1970). Se casó con el joyero Luis Ricci. Aprendió costura y abrió casa en París en 1932. Creaba trajes elegantes y refinados de estilo clásico y trabajaba directamente con las piezas de la tela. Destacó por el excelente acabado de sus prendas, especialmente apropiadas para señoras mayores. En 1945, su hijo se hizo cargo de la dirección hasta 1963, año en el que Gérard Pipart pasó a ser el director de diseño.
Italian designer (1883-1970). He married the jeweler Louis Ricci. She learned sewing and home opened in Paris in 1932. Costumes created elegant and refined classical style and worked directly with the pieces of cloth. Highlighted by the excellent finish of their garments, especially appropriate for older ladies. In 1945, his son took over the leadership until 1963, the year in which Gérard Pipart became the director of design.
